Program Description:
The VOTC crew in training internship program is designed for students that have completed their freshman year of high school, are a minimum of 14 years of age and are strongly interested in becoming a member of the VOTC guide crew.
The internship program is a balance between training these teens to become full crewmembers in following summers by allowing them to see the full spectrum of work duties and related responsibilities connected with being a VOTC guide. Due to Colorado state law, interns will not be allowed to work after 9:00 pm on any night. This program gives the teens a chance to see if this job is a fit for them as they get older and guarantees them a position the following year if all internship criteria are met.
Pay:
Minimum wage (currently $5.15)
Hours:
10 hours/week maximum. Hours may fall during any of the following:
Wednesday 9:00 am 5:00 pm
